Home > Group Profile Page > Edit Group Button
To access your group’s settings, visit your group page and click the “Edit Group” button, which is situated on the right-side of the group’s header.
Locate the “Visibility” drop-down box and select your preference between “Public” and “Private.” If you would like for individuals to automatically be able to follow your group and for posts made within your group to be visible to everyone, select “Public.” If you would like to manually accept or deny requests to follow your group and for posts made within this group to be visible to group members only, select “Private.”
If you want to further minimize the visibility of a private group, click “Enable” under the “Ghost Mode” setting. “Ghost Mode” is a way for your group to avoid appearing in search results and “Suggestions” panels; individuals can access the group only using the direct URL. Of course, group administrators can still send individual members private invitations to follow the group.
Once you've adjusted the settings according to your preferences, click the green "Save Changes" button, which is located at the top of the page.
